From one-of-a-kind vintage inspired pieces, colorful beaded necklaces adorned with mixed metals and leather tassels, the new collection has Erin entering a new accessory identity. But not to worry, Erin still holds true to her signature semi-precious gemstone bracelets sets.

What is your favorite thing about being a part of the fashion industry?
I feel so lucky to have met so many talented people, from designers to retail owners. Being able to work closely with them is very special and it’s such an honor to be able to learn from them. I definitely consider them my fashion family.

What is currently your favorite item in your closet?
My new pair of Goldsign jeans.

When all else fails, what item is your “go-to” item for a chic look?
My “go-to” item is one of my WE ARE OWLS scarves. I love the patterns and colors and they are an easy way to complete a look.

What is your favorite piece from your current collection?
I love my new LUXE bracelet sets for fall. The gemstones are amazing! I also love the exclusive BY ERIN GORDON for SARCA tribal necklaces.

Why do you LOVE Chicago?
Chicago is such a beautiful and clean city, and the people are so warm and friendly.

What do you think makes Chicago style different from any other city, or is it?
Chicago is definitely more relaxed and casual when it comes to style.

Where is your favorite place to eat/drink/play in Chicago?
This is hard because I have a lot of favorites. Currently, my favorite place to eat - Hubbard Inn, to drink - Studio Paris and to play - the pool at East Bank Club.

What essential piece do you think every Chicago gal should have in their closet?
A Chicago gal should definitely have a great pair of boots.

What is your current obsession?
My dog. Her name is Wrigley and she is a bichon friese who has the sweetest personality. She can always put a smile on my face no matter what kind of day or week I am having.

iPhone or Blackberry?
Currently I have a Blackberry, but I loved my iPhone as well. I do a lot of emailing from my phone and find it easier to email from a Blackberry. I would say I’m both an iPhone and Blackberry girl:)

What do you pack for a last minute trip?
Clothes that can be worn in a casual or dressier way so I don’t have to worry if I brought the right pieces with me.

Worst fashion moment?
When my mom made me wear penny loafers in middle school. And yes, I even put pennies in them! LOL.

Favorite Fashion moment?
Anytime I feel great in what in what I’m wearing.

Favorite Career moment?
When people started recognizing BY ERIN GORDON designs on other people. That was really exciting! And of course still is!

Which fashion trend do you wish would go away forever or never come back?
Mini skirts worn with UGG boots.
