Opened in 2002 on the corner of Southport and Cornelia in the lively neighborhood of Lakeview, the boutique was the first upscale women’s clothing store in this now thriving shopping area. From the start, Krista K has been recognized for offering a thoughtful mix of the brightest emerging designers and perennial favorites. Krista K customers come in for the one on one personal service and selection of brand names such as Helmut Lang, Elizabeth and James, Lana Jewelry, and an extensive premium denim selection. In its first year of business, Krista K was named Chicago’s Best New Women’s Boutique by Chicago Magazine and was featured on ABC’s 190 North as one of Chicago’s top 3 Boutiques and has also been featured in numerous editorials, from the New York Times to Lucky magazine.
