Statement Eyes or lips with fresh skin!
If you've been eagerly awaiting the end of the "contour-craze," you're day has arrived. For a lot of women who don't wear a lot of coverage everyday, the idea of a full coverage, matte, super formal look just feels unnatural. And honestly, it looks very dated. But it's still a wedding, and they still want to feel like a stunning bride. So emphasizing a dramatic eye (or lip) is a great compromise. Keep your freckles and touchable skin, but have some fun with a more eyeshadow, shaping the eye, liner, and individual lashes. I prefer to be a little more daring with eyes versus lips, as the eyes need no touching up and will last you well into the night. This way you'll still look like you're at a big event, but when you look back at your photos in a few years, you'll still be able to recognize yourself.
Make Up For Ever Aqua cream. Numbers 13 (Warm Beige) and 16 (Pinky Beige Shimmer) are my favorites.
Make Up For Ever Aqua eye liner pencils. Once they dry down, they don't move. I use them as a base under gel liner for a smoky eye that doesn't move.
Viseart palette #01 Matte, this is revered among makeup artists! The best contouring and neutral shadows for eyes.
