Every bride wants to have a picture perfect wedding day - a glowing face and dewy makeup to perfection, so where do you start? It's all about a perfect base tan that won't harm your skin. Ladies, orange is NOT the new black in this situation, so we headed to our favorite new custom spray tan salon Glowout, where owner and expert Jennifer Dieas gave us the scoop how to get ready for your big day!
G: How far ahead of your wedding date should you do a to trial?
JD: We suggest a trial to become comfortable with the process which avoids any added stress during the wedding week. For the perfect natural, believable tan two days prior is ideal for a bride to book. This allows the tans to be perfect for the rehearsal dinner, the wedding and through the first half of the honeymoon.
G: How long does it last, so when should you have it done before your wedding day?
JD: Tans typically last 7-9 days.
G: Does it get on your dress? If so, what to have on hand to get tanner out of your gown?
JD: Brides should not be concerned with the tan rubbing off on their dress. We suggest brides lightly tan their face.
G: If you are getting your makeup done professionally, should you have your face sprayed?
JD: The day of the wedding brides should ask their makeup artist to take a photo of the tan with a flash to check for consistency from face to body.
